Voting Question: Gladiator movie and ROME!?

Hi, so i have to compare the real ancient Rome to how it was percieved in the movie " Gladiator" (the one with Russell Crowe in about 2000?) just specific aspects of the movie that were totally Hollywood and not like how Rome really was...Example- the colosseum...help would be greatly appreciated! and please be specific as possible:] thank you! i know it was but i need it to be compared to ancient Rome in reality....
